My Favourite Irishman
I tried to put this picture in the other post, but blogger was being stupid again. This is Fraser Hosford, and he is the greatest Irishman to live (even if he is Methodist, for now). Also, did you know that in "The Untouchables" Sean Connery is supposed to be Irish? Could he at least make an attempt at an Irish accent?

Favorite with a "u", eh? What's next? A post advocating Pacific Rim colonialism and the merits of viscous beer?
Well hopefully not. I did just walk by a street stand with sign saying "Islam does not support terrorism" and "Not in his name." I felt like giving the guy the finger but I am working on better ways to deal with that mentality. Suggestions?
Would you rather the sign say "Islam does support terrorism"?
I would. The only thing I hate more than terrorists are duplicitous terrorists.
I was going to say the same, but Jackson beat me to the punch. That would be brilliant if they would come out and say that! But then again, I bet you think they actually don't support terrorism whereas Jackson and I do. Not every Muslim, just those who really follow Muhammad's teaching and life. Feel free to disagree but check out what this guy did with his life.
So yes, I would rather tham come out about it. It would make things a lot cleaner in this world. But they won't.
How about a sign that says, "Christians hate gay people"?
Your picture still doesn't show up on my screen. :)
The Untouchables was doomed from the beginning beacuse the lead role was given to Kevin "I can't act to save my life" Costner. I hate the guy. Seriously.
I totally agree with Hans-Georg. Nothing like founding a religion based on pedophilia and power. Holy Crap- Catholics are the new Muslims!
C'mon. I'm watching "Waterworld" in the shop as we speak. Just kidding, but seriously, it's "Tin Cup".
Redness - the sign offered by Charles was "Islam does support terrorism", not "Muslims support terrorism." The second we can all agree on (as well as "Muslims do not support terrorism") it is the first that is the issue. Some Christians certainly do hate gays, which is unfortunate, but Christianity as a religion does not. I think it is a subtle but important difference.
Speaking of gays, my ethics professor is debating V. Gene Robinson (homosexual bishop) Nov. 3rd in Oxford. Sweet.
Why can't Episcopaleans play chess? They can't tell the difference between a queen and a bishop.
That joke kicks ass by the way.
Tell your favourite Irishman to stop drinking wiskey and demand that you post something on your blog.
